Our Next Disney Trip Begins to Take Shape
Like many people around the world, we are Disney Addicts.
I discovered the magic of Disney through my wonderful parents. It so happens that when I was born it was cheaper to go to Disney World than to go to the beach, and so my parents took my brother and I to visit often. I have thousands of pictures of us in Disney World through out the years. We didn’t go every year, but almost. One year we went to camp. One year we went to Europe. One year we went to Canada. But, mostly it was Disney (and Disneyland, too… although only two or three times when I was veeery young).
When my dad lost his job when I was starting college, but soon after my parent started their own business, there we were… back to Disney World!
Some years we took family and friends. One year we were over 30 people going in our party. It was crazy.
In fact, at some point we took my college boyfriend! I know! I didn’t end up marrying him.
When I did meet my husband, guess where we went on our honeymoon? Disney. For 10 days! The longest I have ever stayed there.
My husband wasn’t a Disney fan. Not at first. Especially not for his honeymoon. Once there, I made him love Disney. He has loved it ever since!
Now we go as frequently as we can. Our kids go with us, too. Hopefully I will get that tradition in them.
I don’t get tired of going, but my husband does. Every time he goes he comes back saying he’s had enough, but I know that won’t last. So, all I have to do is wait and eventually he’ll announce it’s time to go again.
That day has come.
Disney vacation planning has begun.
Planning for Disney is just as much fun for us as going to Disney (well, maybe not as much, but you get the idea). We take into account the following things:
– Crowd Calendar
– Dining
– Accommodations
– Fast Passes
– Transportation
I’ll go in detail during the next few weeks.
Can’t wait to go to Disney!
cheers!
