Movie Review: Suicide Squad
February 17, 2017
I know this review is way overdue. I know the movie didn’t have good reviews. My review won’t be much different. I really wanted to like this because I love Harley Quinn. It was perhaps of my high expectations that I didn’t like it.
Harley was only worth while if she was with the Joker. In fact, the only GREAT thing about this movie was when the Joker and Harley were on screen. If they had only played the parts with Harley and the Joker then to me, the movie would have been legendary. Margot Robbie looked awkward as Harley without the Joker most of the time. Like, out of place. At least to me.
Deadshot (Will Smith), was basically the main character in this movie. Everything revolved around his point of view. He just didn’t do it for me.
At least the first few minutes where they introduced the characters were fantastic! Too bad everything else is just not worth watching again (except for the Harley/Joker parts, of course.
