Things to Do in Zelda Breath of the Wild
April 12, 2017
I love Zelda.
I not only like playing, but I also love writing and talking about Zelda.
Right now, I’m all about Breath of the Wild. Almost 100 hours of gameplay so far. Three Divine Beasts. Twenty Hearts. Two Stamina Wheels. I think I rock. Ha!
Today I am going to list things that you need to collect in Breath of the Wild.
- Shrines. Possibly the most important for me. Find Shrines and you will, a) get more hearts or stamina, b) get teleporting points, c) get weapons/rupees/armor/gems. There are 120 of these in the game.
- Food. What you eat gives you not only heart, but also heat or cold resistance, lightning resistance, more stamina, more defense, more attack, extra hearts. Find all the food you can.
- Gems. These are good for rupees or special armor. You can sell them for rupees and get stuff you need for sale or you can restore the jewelry shop and buy special jewelry that protects you from most things. Smash or blow up black rocks to get gems, it’s a good thing.
- Monster Parts and bugs. These together can help you make elixirs. Monster parts you can eventually also sell for special gear in a shop. Bugs are good for upgrading armor.
- Arrows. Get arrows. All kinds. All the time.
- Weapons, Armor, Bows, Shields. Obviously useful. Don’t live without them.
- Korok Seeds. These allow you to get more armor/bows/arrows/shields. Get them. I don’t necessarily go looking for them. Just pick up all rocks and you will find many. Follow all those disappearing yellow flowers. If you see bullseyes, shot them. If you see a timer, get there.
- Sidequests usually help you get all of the above.
I love this game. Had I mentioned that?
cheers!
