Graphic Novel Review: Sweet Tooth Vol. 5 – Unnatural Habitats

This series hasn’t stopped surprising me. It’s just an amazing combination of art direction and story with interesting characters. The story just flows.

In this volume the creative team takes what I would call a risk. For two issues they stop the main storyline to go back to an event back in the early 1900’s where they narrate what could be the beginning of the mythology of what’s actually going on.

Today, as I was reading, I began to wonder if this series will have an end. I really wish it would, I would like to know the answers to all of this eventually. I hope they don’t drag it out. For now, I am just enjoying the ride.

This volume also featured two characters that turned out to be something other than what I thought they’d be. It was a little predictable, but I didn’t care. It still kept me on the tip of my seat. I just couldn’t stop reading to find out how it would all turn out in the end.

Don’t miss out. This one’s worth it.

cheers!
