Graphic Novel Review: Cosplayers

I picked up this graphic novel because it was highlighted as one of the employee’s favorites. The rest of the books on that shelf were thick dramatic novels and then I saw this one, a totally different book: I couldn’t resist.
I am not a cosplayer, but I enjoy watching them at comic book conventions.
I know enough about comic books to be able to enjoy the references in this book. I also know enough about comic book conventions to be able to see myself in their place. Overall, the book was a little bizarre, and it showed a side of comic cons that we don’t usually see but know it’s there. The book is divided into chapters that are stand alone and give more insight into the two main character’s lives.
I don’t know if I can recommend this book. It wasn’t bad, but I don’t think it’s for everyone.
cheers!
