Writing and Publishing: Relaunch of A Few Drops of Fantasy
EDITED 7/7/18: Well, I have decided to retire “A Few Drops of Fantasy”. My stories are good, and I believe in them, and I will publish them individually with the hope that each find its readers. I know you guys are out there and my stories are looking for a home
I have rediscovered Kindle Unlimited.
My first brush with it was catastrophic to say the least. Now that I go back to that time, The Recruit was my first book, the cover (made by me) was horrible, and I had no idea what it truly meant to be a self-published author. After the initial sales to friends and family the book plummeted. I tried Kindle Unlimited then, but with no promotion of any sort (and with that horrible cover). Feeling like what I needed was to go wide, I pulled the book from KU and enlisted in the then wonderful Pronoun.
After a year and a half in this journey I came across a plethora of information about self-publishing and in it, I saw Kindle Unlimited in a new light.
Werewolf Phenomenon is the first to begin in KU, soon followed by A Few Drops of Fantasy. That’s right, on June 29th, my collection of short stories will be pulled from all other channels. Now with all stories professionally edited, it will become a part of the Kindle Unlimited library. Soon, the individual stories will follow publication on their own every two weeks.
I believe if readers get a taste of what my writing looks like in these short stories they may be convinced I am an author worth their time.
All I need is to find the right readers.
cheers!
EDITED 7/5/18: Still waiting for this collection to be removed from Overdrive before I can relaunch it in amazon and Kindle Unlimited.
