Writing and Publishing: Professional Editing

After reading some books and taking some courses, I have decided to give my writing career one last chance. This time, I have a plan and I will work hard for a year to create a brand and maybe find followers who enjoy my stories. At the end of the day, I am to entertain and I will look to find readers to entertain.
One of the things I had neglected to do was professionally edit my stories. This is about to change. It will take time for an editor to go through the three books in my series and two short stories, but I would like to have all of my published work professionally edited before the end of the year. It’ll be expensive, but it’s something I think will be worth it in the long run. I know the readers will appreciate it the most.
Once part four of the series is ready for publication, it will go through an editor, too.
I am excited about this new stage in my still latent writing career, and a little fearful. But, if it’s meant to happen it will happen… if not, then I will still write because I love it. I can’t wait to show you what else I have in store for you.
