Writing and Publishing: The N.A.V.S.A. Universe – Part 1

As I write this, I am eagerly awaiting the release of The North American Vampire Secret Agency’s, a.k.a. NAVSA, second book: “Werewolf Phenomenon”.

As I am writing this, “The Recruit” is FREE everywhere, has three reviews on Amazon, twelve on Goodreads and at some point had a review on iBooks (which was lost when it moved from Pronoun to Draft 2 Digital).

As I am writing this, it has been downloaded 1,200 times.

Book Two, “Werewolf Phenomenon” is the next chapter that continues the six-part NAVSA Series.

The NAVSA Universe, as I call it, is very vast… At some point, the stories became so hard to keep up with I created a timeline in excel.

Here is a section of it:

This section of the story line includes the original year I wrote each book, including a short story that serves as a prequel and four that became the aftermath.

It doesn’t end there. There’s also the story of Michael, a man who mutates his own body in a grotesque way. The Michael Saga (which I’ve not decided if that’s how I’ll call it), is set after the first adventures of Rebecca, Dylan, Will and the last member *no spoilers* come to an end.

The Michael Saga is very dear to my heart. I wrote those stories when I was pregnant and felt there weren’t a lot of things I could do. A lot of limitations. I would wake up in the middle of the night having these dreams of the mutated man, who I named Michael. He then fitted into the NAVSA universe perfectly with Grant Helm (who is introduced in “Werewolf Phenomenon”) as another of the main characters in the series.

But, let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It will take me five years to finish publishing the NAVSA story before we can continue with the next series.

More to come!
cheers!
