Writing and Publishing: Finishing the First Draft of “The Fall of Witchcraft”

Cover Teaser

If you have not read my books about the Vampire Secret Agency, well, what are you waiting for?

Book one, “The Recruit”, may be a little slow at first, but it’s the set up of a world filled with action and adventure. My brother, who may be a little biased because he’s my number one fan, sometimes tells me it’s too bad book one is not enough to get readers to try the next book in the series. I tell him the story came out like that, and I feel like it needs to start slow. I also tell him I will keep editing it and maybe trying to change some words to make it more exciting. But, people have left good reviews. One even says my story is the best of its genre, a refreshing way to look at the vampire lore. What can I say, I wrote this book because I wanted to read a book like this. I wanted vampires to be awesome and I wanted them to get along with werewolves and witches and I wanted so many things and since no one had given me that, I created a world that was amazing.

The recruit is Rebecca Sawyer, a regular girl with a bitter past (and present) who is chosen to become a vampire and once she becomes one, she finds she has uncanny vampire abilities. Here’s book one, in case you want to give it a try:

Then, book two came out. Book two is “Werewolf Phenomenon”. I didn’t waste time in explaining why Rebecca had to become a vampire in this one. Now, it’s all about Rebecca trying to be a vampire and still be human. It’s about how she finds out she has all this power and how easy it is to get lost in it. Book two also introduces Will. Will is a werewolf that isn’t like the other werewolves. In this book, Will tries to convince the vampires to let him become a part of their agency. Of course, it isn’t easy, but through the story, Will and Rebecca will create a bond which will last for the rest of the series.
Here’s book two, in case you want to continue the story from “The Recruit”:
Then comes book three.
I just finished book three’s first draft. It’s title is “The Fall of Witchcraft”. I think the title says it all. In my world, there are vampires and werewolves, but there are also witches. The witches help the vampires hunt down the werewolves because it’s in the werewolves’ natures to be destructive (while the vampires are logical). When I first started this world, I knew I needed vampires, werewolves and witches working together. In this book, the final member of the team joins the group. This story is a little bit of a mystery and an action movie. Many characters will meet their doom… it is called “The Fall of Witchcraft” for a reason.
I am now in the revising process… which will lead to the editing process, before it’s ready for publication.
I am aiming to release book three in the early months of 2019, but if it’s ready sooner, it’ll come sooner. I have to say the cover is AMAZING!
I am also already plotting book 4 in my head. Like the other three, I wrote these stories twenty years ago, but I am a more experienced writer now and I have done wonders with the plots I created with I was in my early twenties. I already have a title for the fourth book and a cover. I confess I also have the titles for book 5 and 6 (the end of the series), but are still brainstorming with covers.
Well, that’s a little bit about my books. I hope you take a chance and get to know my characters.
Have questions for me? Please write them in the comments. I’d love to answer a few questions about my books.
cheers!
