TV Series Review: Lucifer (Season 3)
I love Lucifer. I have since season 1. I admit I didn’t like all the characters, but the idea and Lucifer’s personality made up for it. Season 1 was the beginning, Season 2 introduced the goddess of all creation, and season 3 gave us Cain.
Cain, played by Smallville‘s Tom Welling, finds his way to Lucifer’s life, at first befriending him and then trying to kill him.
During this season, the other character’s dynamics were better than watching Lucifer and Chloe’s pseudo-romantic relationship; well, except for Mazikeen and Amenadiel… the characters from the original season just didn’t make sense this time.
Everyone else was great: Dan, Ella, Charlotte… they gave life to the show. I especially enjoyed watching Tom Welling as Caine. He was fun.
The character of Lucifer himself seemed in need of an overhaul all season. I know he’s supposed to be an hedonistic, self-absorbed man, but it was getting ridiculous. He needed to grow up. And he did, in the season finale, finally.
Overall, the season was fun to watch, as it always is and here I am hoping someone will pick it up to be able what’s going to happen next because it had one hell of a cliffhanger.
cheers!
