TV Series Review: The Good Place Season 1

I was completely unsure about this show. First of all, I had to stop watching Game of Thrones (I am still on season 3) because my husband decided he’d had enough drama for the month… Instead, I was “forced” to watch The Good Place.

I am someone who can’t stand injustice in movies, tv, books, etc… I just don’t enjoy it. We have enough injustice in our lives to be worrying about it in fiction. The pilot showed events that I found a little… unfair, although soon I became amused by the situation.

The Good Place happens in the afterlife. So, basically, the characters can’t die because they are already dead. You still forget about that fact. Also, there is a twist to it all and I loved it.

Bottom line, I highly recommend this series. It is funny and original.
