On my eight year as a teacher I started a Teachers Pay Teachers store.
People told me I would not succeed. They said my products weren’t good. And yet, I persevered.
Today, I average around a $2,000 income every year. Granted, it’s not much, but it’s better than nothing. True, I pay a lot of taxes for it, but like my husband says, better pay taxes for something than have nothing to pay taxes for.
Now that I am no longer in education (at least for now), I have mostly stopped producing any products. So far, I’ve finished one I started about consonant blends and today, I updated my yearly calendar. Each year I go into the file and change the dates and update some numbers. Then it goes out into the world again, renewed.
