#TBT Review: Splash

We had to watch Splash with the kids.

It’s a classic.

They had seen Forrest Gump and they could not believe it was the same actor! It was cute.

I love this movie as a kid, and I could tell the years passed because the kids (and me), found some of it a little too slow and boring. We still watched it and enjoyed it. They loved Tom Hanks and John Candy the most and were disheartened when I told them John Candy had passed.

It’s one of the few mermaid movies that are done right, in my opinion. The sequel is no way near as good, so let’s stick with the first one, please.
