#TBT Movie Review: Men in Black II

After we watched Men in Black, the kids just had to see its sequels. We started with the second one and they were just as enthralled as the first. To be honest, the second Men in Black is my least favorite. Sure, there’s the aliens and the plot involves a direct attack to the MiB headquarters, but apart from that it’s basically the same thing. K (Tommy Lee Jones) gets his memories back and then his dynamic with J (Will Smith) continues just as it was from the first movie.
Five years have passed since the first movie and J keeps loosing partners, but once he gets K back it’s like no time has passed. Unfortunately, this movie is forgettable, at least to me. I did remember plot points while I was watching it with the kids and I sat down through all of it and it kept me entertained. The kids loved it, though. At the end all they wanted was to watched number 3.
It’s still a good movie, I guess, but out of the three, it gets last place in my book.
