Our Visit to The National Videogame Museum

This is the third time I agree to go to this museum. I’m not a big fan, but my friend had never been and we took the kids (ages 6, 9, 11, 11).

The museum is very small and basically all it has is video games you can play.

THAT.IS.ALL.

They did have some new video games (although I missed some that were removed, like Ninja Turtles). Some video games were out of order, too, this time we went. That was a bummer. They also have an arcade in the back (picture on top), which you have to pay to play. The entrance to the museum is expensive for what it is, and it includes 4 tokens. Yes. Just 4. They last you nothing in that arcade and then you can either go out into the museum and play what they have for free, visit their small gift shop or… leave.

I have to say again, I am not a fan, although the kids do seem to enjoy playing the different games they have even if they don’t understand what they’re supposed to do or how to play.

I would much rather go someplace else, but I still think it’s worth visiting at least once.

cheers!
