Movie Review: Hitman’s Bodyguard

My husband and I were looking for an action movie to watch last night and we chose this one.

In fact, my husband hadn’t even heard of it (I had watched the trailer), but was sold my Samuel L. Jackson and so we watched it.

It had a low tomato meter %, but I am learning not to trust that number that much lately. It’s an action movie, people! It is unlikely it will have this deep message or make us suffer with real life issues. It is action and I expect to see action sequences and action-packed choreography and a lot of people shooting other people. Ha! 

And that’s what happened.

Now, those action sequences were amazing and plentiful. Also, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson were hilarious! I even liked Salma Hayek’s character. It was funny and actioned packed like it’s supposed to be.

I really enjoyed it and you could, too – if you like the genre, of course.
