KidZania coming to Frisco!

We first visited KidZania in Mexico (Monterrey) two years ago while visiting family during Christmas. They had said wonderful things about the experience and really, we had to see it to believe it.

KidZania, which has been announced is coming to Frisco next year, is a great place for kids to role-play real life jobs and services. My kids were 5 and 7 when we first visited, but even my 3 year old niece was able to work in several of the “companies” there.

The “companies” were ones that existed in real life in Mexico. The indoor park is a miniature replica of a city. It has roads and buildings, some offer jobs to perform a service (like delivering the mail or painting a building – with real paint) and others a product (like making a pizza – that you can actually eat).

Kids get a some KidZania money and with it, they can buy food, mostly. For example, working at McDonalds will get you a real kid burger to eat, one that you make yourself from scratch. The Gansito factory is the best. You get to make your own Gansito!

Gansito

My children loved the place. There is plenty of them to do. We were there for over three hours and they still had things left to do, and were completely full from all they had eaten, too! Some jobs you can start whenever you drop in, others have a schedule (for example, the Gansito factory opened every 20 minutes and they only let 10 kids in at a time).

I can’t wait for KidZania to come to Frisco. My daughter will be 11 years old then and we can still enjoy it together for two years!
cheers!
