Graphic Novel Review: Sweet Tooth Vol. 4 – Endangered Species
I am still obsessed with this graphic novel about the post-apocalyptic future where most everyone dies of a sickness and kids are born like animal/human hybrids.
I checked part 4 and 5 out from the library a few weeks ago and could wait to finish the book I was reading to continue with this saga and I have to say, it did not disappoint.
Sweet Tooth, the main character and a boy hybrid with antlers is now traveling with his party to the North: Alaska. The journey can’t be easy for them, of course. They still have to defend themselves from the wild and dangerous new world left by the sickness. On the way, they find a bunker that appears to be heaven, although not everybody believes the man inside is to be trusted.
Something totally unexpected happens at the end and now I can’t wait to pick up the next volume to find out what’s going to happen next! This is a great series with great writing; I can’t stop reading it and I don’t really like post-apocalyptic/depressing stories… but I am hooked with this one.
cheers!
