Graphic Novel Review: Sweet Tooth Vol. 3

Well, I got to the third volume of Sweet Tooth, the post-apocalyptic adult comic book where most people were killed by some sickness (a la The Stand), and strange hybrid children begin to pop up everywhere.

The story continues where it left off. Sweet Tooth’s (Gus) story keeps developing since we last saw his in the last volume. We are now about to find out where exactly he came from and if he is responsible for the sickness. 

Although I’m still not sure where the story is trying to get into, the writing is wonderful and the characters interesting. I just can’t seem to put it down. The art is the only thing I would change, but then again, it kind of goes with the depressing post-apocalyptic theme, as well, so I don’t know.

I still recommend this series very much.
