Book Review: Red Queen
April 4, 2017
I have been seeing this book around a lot… or, more than others, at least. I couldn’t resist the temptation when I learned it was about people with superpowers (because I love people with superpowers). I took it off the shelf from the Barnes and Noble and bought it with a gift card I had.
I have heard different reviews about this book. Some great. Some horrible. I have to admit I am definitely on the great side of the spectrum. I just loved this book.
I confess that the premise was interesting to me. It was a little like imagining a world where the X-Men are royalty and the homo-sapiens are the slaves. Something like a what if… It was pretty amazing.
This is only the first part in what I thought was going to be a trilogy, although as I look on the web there is a possible fourth book (still untitled) there somewhere. I only hope the following books are as good as the first.
I will keep my fingers crossed.
cheers!
