Book Review: Mistborn

My husband recommended I read this book, Mistborn: The Final Empire. He was really adamant about it. I was forced to break my book reading sequence because he just wouldn’t stop urging me to read it. And so, I did.

What a nice surprise of a book! There is magic and action and excellent character development. And more! There are twists that you just can’t foresee and a very well planned plot that works until the end. Even when it did get a little slow at times, those times weren’t many. The use of magic, called Allomancy because it has to do with metals, is very well thought out and used very creatively. I loved it. If you are reading a book this year, let it be Mistborn. Excellent!
