Book Review: Legend
June 7, 2018
Then, one day, we were talking about books and Legend came up again… She actually sounded offended I hadn’t read it, yet. So, I promised it would be the next book I read. Immediately, I put it on hold from the library and picked it up four days later. I remember I had read about 20 pages of the book when I got a text from my friend asking me how Legend was doing. I had nothing to say about… not yet. The story was still forming and I had my doubts I would even like it at all. So, I told her I didn’t really have an opinion on it… to wait.
One of my friends recommended this book to me over a year ago. I remember I saw it in Half-Price Books once, took a look at it and put it back in the shelf thinking I’d go back to it later. Time passed and I completely forgot about it.

And then, it happened. It got better and better and better. And now I think it’s amazing. It became one of those few books I can’t stop reading. It became one of those few books I have to force myself to stop reading and night because I just want to read one more chapter. It’s that good.
I finished reading the adventures of Day and June today and I want to know more. I want to know what will happen in their dystopian future. I want to know how the Republic will fall… because it has to, right?
I highly recommend this book, it is pretty amazing. You won’t regret it. As for me? I have already requested book 2, Prodigy, from the library… and I can’t wait to go pick it up.
cheers!
