Book Review: Dark Tide (Waterfire Saga #3)

Dark Tide is the third book in the Waterfire Saga series by Jennifer Donnelly. These books are about six mermaids who need to save the oceans for a supernatural threat. Just like the first two books, Dark Tide is filled with action and plot twists that made me fear for the lives of the six main mermaids and their friends. Even when some plots are predictable, not all are and the story kept me interested all the time. It is one of those books I can’t stop reading and is just a fun way to spend an evening.
Unlike other books that are a series, the Waterfire Saga’s story is told in four books and you feel that every single word matters. It is still a young adult book, but I’m sure older audiences, like me, would still enjoy it.
It’s been a while since I’ve had this much fun with a book. I highly recommend it!
