Aromatherapy and Essential Oils
May 7, 2017
I first learned about the world of Aromatherapy and Essential Oils from my sister-in-law.
The first thing she did was gift me with this:
These are great gifts, I think. I’m really lucked out with my sisters-in-law (I have 3), but this one gift made me want to know more about aromatherapy and its function.
Honestly, I can’t say I totally buy the effects of these essential oils, but if I think about it, the fact that they are chemical elements with different properties makes me want to believe in all of it. In the long term, there may be benefits, right?
Now, essential oils are expensive. My sister-in-law was very specific when she told me the websites to visit to get natural and pure essential oils.
One website she recommended was Aromatics International.
They also link you to several classes and certifications at Aromahead Institute. I personally took their free beginners course. The best part was the pictures of those lavender fields in Europe. Worth it.
Now, these essential oils and diffusers are also sold at any Whole Foods. They are expensive there.
Or, you can find the items on the picture above on amazon:
What are your thoughts on aromatherapy? Does it work for you? Which essential oils are your favorites?
cheers!
